On June 24th, 1981, six children began having daily apparitions of Our Lady on a hillside in Medjugorje. These apparitions of the Blessed Mother are alleged to continue even today. Medjugorje has become a powerful place of conversion where men from around the world come together in prayer, encounter the love of God, and leave strengthened in faith and brotherhood.
In April 2027, we are inviting men of all ages to join this special men's retreat + pilgrimage. This journey offers a unique opportunity to stand together as brothers in Christ - supporting one another in conversion, deepening prayer lives, and responding to Our Lady’s call for peace. No matter where you are in your faith, whether new to The Church, curious about Catholicism, or a daily Mass-goer, this is an opportunity to learn and grow closer to God. Dates
We will visit Medjugorje for 10 nights, departing April 10th and arriving back home on April 21st, 2027.
Lodging
The location of our home in Medjugorje is in the heart of where it all began: Bijakovići. This is at the base of Apparition Hill. This peaceful location offers easy access to Apparition Hill, Cross Mountain, St. James Church, and the rest that Medjugorje has to offer. We will be provided with comfortable, clean accommodations. Each room includes a private bathroom, A/C, and a simple bed. We will have catered meals together twice a day, served in the ground floor dining room.
Guide & Spiritual Focus
Our local professional guide will teach us all about Herzegovina, Medjugorje, the surrounding villages, as well as arrange a rich program of historical and spiritual speakers and sites. We will spend time in personal prayer and reflection, as well as group sessions emphasizing the role God is calling each of us to take up as Men. Together, we will climb mountains, pray the Rosary, attend daily Mass, Adoration, attend the evening prayer program, and participate in discussions, to explore and strengthen our faith.
Cost
As a volunteer-run pilgrimage, costs are kept minimal. The estimated total includes airfare + ground costs (double occupancy per person). This covers lodging, meals (2 per day while in Medjugorje), ground transportation, and licensed guide. It does NOT include trip insurance.
